Interest in 3D gaming is widespread, spanning core and casual game audiences, but consumers also harbour concerns about the technology, according to a new study from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). E3 organiser the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced that this week’s LA-based gaming show featured approximately 300 exhibitors and attracted 45,600 visitors - up compared to 2009’s 216 exhibitors and 41,000 attendees. The ESA also said that next year’s E3 Expo will take place from June 7-9, 2011 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Former Hudson Entertainment president John Greiner has started a new company dedicated to releasing Japanese games in the West.
